Along the way you cross fields of maize and beans as well as little settlements and farms. By the end of the valley you climb down to a refreshing spring. On the opposing slope - partly leading along a Levada - you will get to other little settlements and then again down into the valley.
Far reaching views across the land - to Assomada - and also down to the sea - even to the other side Maio - award you with totally new and amazing impressions of Santiago. |
